Hello everyone,
Colossians 1:19-22 is our main verses for today's Sunday Worship Service.
Gnosticism led to a lot of different false teachings, yet the truth of the matter is that we have been separated from God because of sin.
1- the ruin (1:21)
the condition of the whole human race - sin has separated us from the presence of God (Ephesians 2:12)
There is a great gulf of separation between God and man
2- the redemption (1:14)
Jesus took the sins of the world to redeem the whole human race (Isaiah 53:10)
3- the reconciliation (1:20,21)
reconciled - restoring two parties at odds
The blood of Jesus Christ was the offering; our offering was not honoured and cannot be honoured since it does not please God; only by the blood of Jesus Christ is the honoured offering that God accepts
God wants for us to be reconciled with Him, and this reconciliation is through Jesus Christ
Please listen to this message about our condition as sinners, that Jesus Christ took the sins of the whole world and that is the only method of reconciliation. God bless.
