YOM KIPPUR THE DAY OF ATONEMENT

Our main texts are found in Leviticus 23:26-28 and chapter 17:10,11

Yom Kippur - the day of atonement

atonement - to make reparation for wrong and injustice, taking 2 parties and uniting them by an atonement, a payment, or a sacrifice.

1- The blood of redemption
eternal redemption for us

2- The blood of the covenant
this covenant will never be void because God made this covenant unbreakable

3- The blood of restoration
the full restoration will happen when Israel has fully repented of their sin and by accepting Jesus Christ as the true Messiah
